iPhone App Reviews (Godfinger & River Test)
Here's another installment of iPhone App Reviews!
1) GodFinger (Free on iTunes)
Check out the above trailer to find out more about the game.
Another resource management game that allows the user to play God.
To start with the good, I think it has great graphics. The villages are rather uniquely cute looking. But the whole game moves rather slowly and there needs to be more action. If I want to "speed" up the game to a moderate level, it seems I have to pay money for that. While I don't mind giving money to developers for a great app, I feel a bit annoyed that I have to pay money to speed the game up to a reasonable level.
At first I was amused by how I can summon rain, sun and so on. Then it got a bit repetitive for the sole reason that it takes so long to achieve anything. For example, for a medival farm, 2 followers have to farm for 12-13 mins before you can get 30 gold!
I am at level 9 and I only still have 5 followers. 3 of them are always exhausted... maybe I don't have the patience for this. I probably am not suitable for a game such as this.
I rate this 2/10. Not my type.
2) River Test (Free on iTunes)

This is a simple game with a complex way of solving the solution. All must cross the river. And there are many obstacbles to it. The obstacles are funny and in a ridiculous sense, easy to remember.

It's great when you are waiting for someone or are just plain passing time. Even if you do manage to complete it once, you will forget the correct method after some time and find this game a challenge again. Great that this game don't require internet but it has little impact on gameplay.
Love it. Try it on iTunes!
I rate it 8/10.

Yes, I agree that the gameplay on godfinger is simply too slow. I wish i'd read more iphone app reviews before installing it and taking an hour to get bored with it. Better off investing in angry birds. epic game.
Agreed!!
