Lok Lok in KL
I am a malaysian. Don't let anything about the way I look, speak and think fool you. Not for one moment. And yet, as I travel more to Kuala Lumpur for work, my malaysian colleagues are dissing me about one huge thing.
I never tried Lok Lok before. Ever.
"How can a malaysian never try Lok Lok before?"
"People from other countries COME here to try it!"
And yes, the fact of the matter is, I never did try anybefore. My mom said it's dirty so I just took her word for it and avoided it. Never felt the urge for it since young. Well until a friend of mine told me that they offer deep frying and grilling as options to cook the spread of Lok Lok now. I was like o.O!? Really?!
So after so much talk, so much dissing, I decided that it's about time it stopped. I must try Lok Lok. Even at least once.
I saw a Lok Lok stall and charged right at it. Lok Lok stalls can be found most anywhere in KL. I decided on a stall near a coffee shop for my virgin attempt at Lok Lok.

The conclusion, not nice. Haha! My family who brought me here said it's not nice. There are better ones around. Well, super! So I have to go try another stall again huh! :)
So have you tried Lok Lok before?

Ju-ann, I want to ask you, other than food, what's good in KL? I might have a one day one night in KL. But not sure where to go.
Thanks in advance for your advice and recommendation. Have a good day.
Go shopping at Times Square and Sungei Wang. Cannot miss!
