Acnes 3 Step Kit Review
Acnes 3 Step Kit. Thanks to thesamplestore, I got the opportunity to review this wonderful new product. #1 in Japan leh!
It came in the nick of time for I was having this massive acne breakout! It was definitely due to stress!
So there I was, seated in my living room, taking apart this product eagerly.
In the package I got 3 products, each representing 1 Step in the 3 Step process.
Step 1: CLEANSE > Acnes Creamy Wash
Step 2: TONE & MOISTURISE > Acnes Powder Lotion
Step 3: SPECIAL CARE > Acnes Sealing Jell
My Review:
Acnes Creamy Wash >> I do not normally have breakouts but when I do, they get real nasty. I tried the cleansing form and found it to be really refreshing though a tad dry. The subtle lime fragrance is quite the surprise too. What I really loved about this is that it lathered up really well! I think that for this product, it's at quite good value too. Only SGD$6.90
Acnes Powder Lotion >> That's okay because when I used the powder lotion, it felt really good. It wasn't oily or anything. It was a very light and powdery feeling. Ah yes, MATT is the word. MATT-finishing! Out of the 3 products in this 3 step kit, I love this lotion the most. :)
Acnes Sealing Jell >> Next up, the Sealing Jell. What is this, you ask. Is it a pimple cream or... ? Well I used it on my pimples and it seems to heal the skin back, and not burn the pimple till it dries and flake off - like most conventional creams that contain lots of benzoyl peroxide.

Hi Ju Ann, very interesting product.
Old days mothers would tell us drink lots of water and should be fine.
In Penang the women folks put on their war paint on their cheeks to aircond it, for better complexion. I think it works as used to know some Penang SYTs (Sweet Young Things) and they had nice complexions.
Oh ya, my mother used to tell my younger sisters to eat their rice till none left on plate, or else will get those acnes. Ha ha.
I think drinking Chinese green tea does help a lot too.
Anyway, you have a beautiful Sunday and keep a song in your heart, best regards, Lee.
Hi Ju Ann, me again....I forgot. Read about your dog 'Mimi'. What a coincidence, I too had a dog, but a trained guard dog Doberman....named Whisky'....no need ask why that name.
I had another one named 'Brandy'. This was before I lost my bachelor's degree, only my maid home alone, and the many robberies then...the '70s.
Used to be in Singapore almost every week...Mandarin hotel and Shangrila hotel was my 2nd home too.
You keep well, Lee.
ps, love your eloquence.
Lee, ya! My mom used to tell me that too!! It was acne or finish it all and be fat. Haha
Glad you enjoyed my post on Mimi. :) She's a sweetheart.
You keep well too :)
