I really doubt guys go through more than girls just to prepare for that first date. Girls have to start dieting way before the date. We have to go get a new outfit (cos there are just no current ones suitable enough). Then at the store, we think, a dress or a 2 piece? Sexy or casual? Then we hold a dress up, look at a mirror and notice that we must do something with that hair! And the nails! And shoes! Don't forget whatever shoes we currently have is probably not going to match the new outfit but if we do, we have to find it from the mountain of shoes in the shoe cabinet! Ah, the bag too!

Then the day comes and we have to calm ourselves down and not be so nervous (especially if the other party is really cute).

Do I look fat? Is my hair messy? Hi! Hello! Erm... how best to say hi without making him think I am too eager? I need to bring this bag cos only this bag matches this outfit. But I can't fit a lot in it. Should I give up my lipstick or powder? Will these heels make me appear too tall? Should I be fashionably late?

Painful right?

Unlike in latest movie The Ugly Truth, two hot Hollywood stars like Katherin Heigl and Gerard Butler in a battle of the sexes. Katherine Heigl’s character (as Abby) is independent and sexy and Gerard Butler (as Mike) is ruggedly handsome, funny and overly confident (which we all women secretly love eh!).



I was just telling my friend the other day that I can't wait for this show to come. I saw the trailer at the cinema and I was laughing out loud at it. Have you watched the trailer yet?



Just listen to the advice the very confident Mike tells Abby:
- Men are very visual.
- Put the hotdog in slowly...
- You have to be 2 people. The librarian and stripper.
- Laugh at whatever he says
- This is short enough to see some tighs but not too short to see..... :P

I can't wait I can't wait! If we can't relate, we won't laugh and cry the way we do with good movies - so why won't I want to watch this movie!

Oh yes, speaking about what's the biggest turnoff at a date with a man?

It definitely has to be if the guy does not treat me as an equal individual. Ordering my dinner without asking what I might want? Deciding which movie to watch without seeking my humble opinion? Not cool.

But guys these days are better. =) Haven't heard of such a turnoff from the grapevine for a long time now. We women might just be SAFE from these jerks for awhile. :P

Oh wait, I had a date once with this guy whose phone kept ringing. Whether it was answering phone calls or sms'ing... I was so pissed. Not cool at all! Ah well, but that's past.
